SPEEs (Student and Parent Enrichment Excursions)

Notes regarding Enrichment Excursion Registration:

At least once a month HPCS Vacaville coordinates a SPEE for our families. We work with organizations to bring in special volunteers, docents or employees to provide an educational opportunity for our families. Each of our SPEEs requires a minimum number of participants. The minimum number is to ensure that we honor the time that these organizations have set aside for our group. Most organizations require a minimum of 20 for a school excursion.

When you register for a SPEE, you need to attend. You have been included in our RSVP numbers, and the sponsoring organization is counting on you being there.

For most excursions, participation is limited. Parents must transport, accompany, and supervise their child/ren on excursions.

All payments will be due no later than a week before the event. Fees for excursions are not reimbursable. If you are registered for an excursion and cancel after the registration ending date or do not attend, there is a $10 cancellation fee.

Make a day of it and register for free educational programming and free food options!

We will be coming together to support our students, parent choice, and charter schools. The goals of the rally are to:

-Demonstrate a vocal, united, and powerful school community to our elected leaders.

-Show the diverse faces of our charter school students and families.

-Persuade our elected leaders to make decisions that benefit our charter school community

PCI families have the option of attending free educational programming in the area (limited spots available), prior to attending the rally. Educational Programs will meet at 11:30, and families will be expected to walk over to the Capitol by 1:30. We will be serving lunch before the start of the rally for our registered families between 1:45 and 2:20 at the PCI tent. Be sure to register below!

The California Charter School Association is sponsoring the rally and will be providing us with a map of our tent location closer to the event. The CCSA will be organizing a brief march up to the West steps of the capitol where the rally speakers are scheduled to begin at 3:00 p.m.  The event will close at 4:00 p.m. Let’s join together to have our voices heard!

Woodland Opera House 2018-19 School Outreach Program

School House Rock, Jr.  Rising Stars Youth Cast

This  show will run approximately 60 mins.  Rising Stars Workshop performed by  students ages 7 and up. This show is perfect for K-6th grade audiences.
